My scholarly expertise and interest is in the 5th-11th century Liturgical and Monastic traditions of those areas often known as the "Celtic Nations": (Brittany (Breizh), Cornwall (Kernow), Wales (Cymru), Scotland (Alba), Ireland (Éire) and the Isle of Man (Mannin, or Ellan Vannin).

My "general" quest is to update Wikipedia articles to especially convey the work and contributions of the monastic tradition in the Catholic Church. Monks around the world are often NOT on Wikipedia, are often not seen, and are often misunderstood by the public. My hope is to open a window into the monastic way of life.

My more "immediate" goal is to create or update articles about individual Benedictine monasteries of men and women monastics and monastic persons of prominence and fame.

You can find out more about me by accessing the info box to your right. And for those scholars who question why someone would spend time time on Wikipedia or (dare say) even contribute to Wikipedia, to that I would simply answer: Condemnant quo non intellegunt!
