Me, myself and I
My real name is Michael and I'm an Afrikaner by descent (although I don't really identify with Afrikaans culture) who lives in Durban, South Africa.
In case you're wondering about my username, it is a humorous Afrikaans corruption of 'Michael' which was my nickname when I was 13 or so.
By the way... my editing has become very intermittent of late. It might take quite a while for me to reply to, or even get, messages. If you need to contact me, it's best to do so via email.
Interests
I'm interested in nearly everything and especially in science and social science (although my comparative advantage definitely lies in the latter). Subjects I am sufficiently familiar with to contribute constructively to include: political science, economics, philosophy, evolutionary psychology, political theory, tiny bits of history and articles relating to the African continent.
