Kenn Smith (born Kenneth LaMont Smith on April 27, 1962 in Chicago Ilinois) is American Jazz, Funk, Rock guitarist/bassist/composer/journeyman residing in Chicago. As a sideman Smith as performed with such artist as The Chicago Sinfonietta, Chi-Lites, Tower of Power, Tom Tom Washington (Arranger for Earth, Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson and Phil Collins.), Jazz Legend Violinist Johnny Frigo, Jazz saxphonist Art Porter, Members of the Miles Davis Band, jazz pianist Jodie Christian, Jazz/Soul saxphonist Najee, bassist Darryl Jones (Bassist for Rolling Stones). As a solo artist he has recorded 4 CD, Short Stories, TWO, BLUE, and My Past.
