Matt Green, (born 1988) is an English singer-songwriter from Kettering and living in a small village between Northamptonshire and Leicestershire.

This twenty seven year old scuba enthusiast has had a wealth of experience for someone of his age and he loves to emerse himself in the midst of different cultures- in order to see the world from different perspectives. This shows in Matt's musical interests and is starting to emerge in his own songs. He is well known for using big band music, especially Benny Goodman, to speed up his washing up, and jazz fused with drum and bass to butcher a deer.

Jazz and Blues hold a very special place in Matt's heart because his earliest professional music experience came from playing the saxophone at school where, as part of an orchestra and a jazz trio he played at some prestigious venues across the country. Matt learned to play the bass at the age of fifteen when he Co-founded the grunge band "Dearest Enemy". The band enjoyed a little success in the local area over the following couple of years but Matt's passions began to lead him down a different path.

Matt started to play the guitar and sing roughly eighteen months after splitting with the band. He admits he still has a lot to learn about singing, playing the guitar and writing songs but he is loving every single minute of it. He says he has the support of two incredible musicians- Shivam Mistry who played the original tabla for "Winter Chills" and has been rehearsing with Matt for live shows. The other will be named and thanked upon the release of Matt's next song "Hasty".

A few months ago Matt decided to leave the chef trade after twelve years of hard graft. This is one thematic element of the upcoming song. (Lately I've been wasted- fading on the lunch line)

He currently works as a stone mason whilst pursuing his love of music whenever and wherever he can.
