Robert Martin (b.1971) is an American singer and recording artist.

Official Website: [2]

One of America's greatest vocal sensations of 2006, cleverly blending jazz and pop vocals in an updated contemporary sound, building on the tradition of great entertainers like Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Tony Bennett, Nat "King" Cole, Paul Anka, Neil Sedaka, or Barry Manilow, nevertheless defnitely, uniquely his own, song stylist Martin's breakthrough debut album "Robert Martin Sings: Cy Coleman" on the newly launched Dauman Music label is a fantastic tribute to one of America's greatest composers of traditional pop and broadway. Renowned producer Ted Perlman of Los Angeles, most notably recognized for his Grammy(R)-award winning work with Burt Bacharach, Bob Dylan and Whitney Houston produced the entire album, with a very "hip" sound, taking Coleman to the 21st century.

Born to Czech/German Pop Singer Milan Martin, who frequently toured in the early 1960s with Swiss pop singer Vico Torriani and American crooner Eddie Fisher - most notably at the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Olympics, and Czech/German Jazz Singer Eva Weinlich, the German-born, American-raised Martin is fluent in English, German, Czech and French, and has worked with a number of notables before his big debut in 2006, such as the great-late Horst Jankowski ("A Walk In The Black Forest").

Little known fact - Robert graduated from business school in 1998 in Arizona, but music has always been the first love.

Has been quoted as "There's only one worse thing than death - lonliness"
