Mark Daniel singer, guitar player and songwriter for the rock group THE LIMIT has been performing in front of audiences since the early age of 8 years old. His influences and compostions range from blues, jazz, rock and country.
Through his teens Mark played in local CT bands performing cover songs and craftling his own compositions along the way but it was when Mark was attending the Berklee College of Music that he was asked to perform with his former guitar teachers band 13O’Clock. The band enjoyed a respectable level success throughout the late 90’s and early 00’s with it’s pop inspired rock sound. It was in late 1998 that Mark founded his current band THE LIMIT with bassist Todd Grosberg and brother Bob Chmiel.
THE LIMIT has officially formed in the winter of 1999 in Milford, CT, USA with Mark Daniel in vocals and guitars, Todd Grosberg in bass and backing vocals and Bob Chmiel on drums after years of playing together at school talent shows and parties with in the southern CT area. Since formation THE LIMIT have released 2 full length albums of music, 3 E.P did countless tours of tours of the United States and are receiving critic acclaim internationally.
Early Independent Success:
After performing at local bars and friends parties THE LIMIT was invited by Toad’s Place (Toad’s Place: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toad%27s_Place) New Haven, CT to be the opening act for guitar virtuoso Steve Vai (Steve Vai: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Vai ). This galvanized that band to release their first E.P. Stages. Shortly after the release THE LIMIT began to tour the East Coast USA. This drew the attention of The Jagermeister Music Tour (Jagermeister Music Tour: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%A4germeister_Music_Tour) which the band signed on with in 2001 and release 2 E.P. one in 2003 and the other 2004 and a full negth self titled CD in 2004 THE LIMIT( . And Disturbed: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disturbed and Alterbridge: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alter_Bridge as part of the Jagermeister Music Tour. Upon the return home to CT THE LIMIT supported Buck Cherry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buckcherry) at Toad’s Place in New Haven, CT and began to demo new material for what was to became their late 2007 release “Reinventing The Sun,” and received a Class 41 Trademark from the United States for “THE LIMIT.”
Recording “Reinventing The Sun.” After a few years recording in CT THE LIMIT decided to head north from CT to Utica, NY to start work on “Reinventing The Sun,” in J.A. Castle Studios. The recording process for the album took over a year to complete but the result has been receiving acclaim internationally. .
