Các thuật ngữ dùng trong PWM . Period = on time + off time Modulation Frequency : inverse of period time (thường lớn) Duty cycle : tỉ lệ % on-time so với period time

Noise immunity : giảm nhiễu. (do các nhiễu rất khó có thể thay đổi tín hiệu từ mức logic 1 sang 0 và vice versa.) Pressure , brake : áp lực, phanh hãm điện từ. Closed-Loop Control : sử dụng bộ đo lường để tạo hệ điều khiển kín giúp chất lượng điều khiển PWM tốt hơn.

Cách thực hiện trong VDK : - Thiết đặt thời gian period trong timer. - Thiết đặt on-time trong bộ điều khiển PWM - Thiết đặt các chân đầu ra PWM (hướng, digital). - Bật timer. - Bật bộ điều khiển PWM.

Ứng dụng : - Đóng cắt khóa điện tử trong power electronics, tạo ra dạng điện áp, dòng điện tương tự ở đầu ra như ý muốn. - Đóng cắt phanh hãm điện từ brake, tạo ra áp lực phanh như mong muốn.
