Jes Gloria is born Jesli Carreon Gloria on January 11, 1982, also known as Jing to his relatives and friends, is recognized as one of the youngest digital entrepreneur in the Philippines in the early stage of the so-called Dot-Com Bubble or the birth of Internet companies. He established his start-up business "Lightbreed" in 2002 while on his third year as an Industrial Engineering student.

He is a native of Sta. Cruz, Manila, where he spent his elementary years in Lourdes School of Quezon City. He is the son of Godofredo Pascual Gloria, a bank executive and Josefina Lazaro Carreon, a company cashier who later turned into a businesswoman. In the early 90's, his family moved to their new home in Bulacan where he took his secondary to tertiary studies. During his college days, Jes continues to practice his passion in artistry, that there he became the graphic artist of their university newspaper.

When he left academe, he was able to build his online portfolio despite small earnings. In 2005, his knowledge in web development was pushed to second when he joined GMA Network, Inc., a broadcast television network in the Philippines. Jes excels rapidly in the field of motion graphics and 3d animation. He became one of the prime mover of the Videographics team in visual effects. Adding to his strength is Media Asset Management, when he co-managed the Technical Operations in the said network in 2008. As an engineer, Jes have fulfilled his role by implementing workflows that strengthens its 24/7 operation.

Jes left GMA-7 in 2011 to pursue his animation business and masters studies. While taking Master in Technology Management in the University of the Philippines, he enjoys collaborating as a part-time instructor in a Malaysian technology school in Quezon City.

Jes is married to Freema Salonga-Gloria, a former news anchor of UNTV 37, and now writes for the same station. His son named John Fresli was born on October 5, 2011.
