To date (as currently), my work experience has primarily been in academic sociology, social psychology, psychology, social theory, research methodologies, and especially in research, writing, and teaching relating to sexuality, sex and gender, and norms, deviance and social control. I am an author, teacher (university), and academic researcher.

I engage in ongoing study and writing in other scientific topics as well.

I study, write, and otherwise work in relation to various issues related to human sustainability and well-being, environmental well-being, and matters of social justice and politics.

I also have over 20 years of paid experience working in various capacities in the music business, mostly as a performer, composer, and/or concert production.
