I have carried out research in postharvest horticulture for 50 years with 3 government institutions in New South Wales Australia. The Univrsity gave me the Hon Doctor of Science when I retired from the University as an honorary. My work has been mainly with apples and bananas but have published over 100 peer reviewed papers on a wide rang of fruits and some vegetables. I am currently promoting my work on treatments that have commercial use
