The primary goals of any City Development Authority shall be to promote the economic prosperity of that city while simultaneously increasing the existing industry and business sectors in order to raise quality of life for the City's residents.
This Development Authority is located in the City of Douglasville, Ga, which is positioned just West of Atlanta, Ga. Highway access can be obtained via five interchanges with I-20. Other interstates within approximately 15 minutes of Douglasville include I-75 and I-85.

HWY 92 Project: Fall 2009; An area of interest for the City of Douglasville Development Authority is the reconstruction and widening of Highway 92, which runs through the heart of the city.
