Have done workshops/panel presentations on: Subject headings for children and young adults; Censorship; Reference interviewing; Library use intruction. Co-edited newsletter for state library organization for a few years. Recently scored application packets of school librarians applying for certification by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (USA).

Currently reside in Okmulgee (south of Tulsa), Oklahoma, USA, and work with young adults, ages 14 to 18.
