John Vaughters

My background is in Automation starting from Telecommunications Manufacture and now in Electric Utility based SCADA with several in-between responsibilities involving IT and Telecom communications. I have a deep curiosity of all things electronic and computer based to complement my degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida.

Starting in late Elementary School and all through Middle school, I flipped through every page of an Encyclopedia set and read what interested me. It was a cheap set but one I wish I had today for memorabilia. This was the beginning of my love for Encyclopedias. I am truly astounded at the concept of Wikipedia and I am a heavy user. My goal is to give back with minor edits and corrections until I have more time to be a larger contributor.
