Joshua Thompson resides in the lower Appalachian hills of East Tennessee. He works for a popular computer, mp3 player, and mobile device retail store identifiable by the monochromatic image of single piece of fruit--one-quarter eaten--branded in aluminum. But just because Joshua holds a solid 9 to 5 doesn't mean he's conformed to the rhythm of his community; Joshua moonlights as a paid guitarist, and manages a small musical instrument and amplifier repair shop. He custom builds instruments to order, as well.
Joshua aspires to be a writer. Aside from his third-person blurbs on various social networking sites, he has published articles on ethics, philosophy, philosophy of religion, and theology. But that bores Joshua. In his dreams, Joshua is a fiction author and late-night, weekend slam poet--coming to a skeevy art hop near you. Joshua has a crush on a waitress, and is unsure of his future to this end. Joshua always finds a way in and out of trouble--usually in with a temper and out with some well-crafted bullshit.
