Jason Mori was born on December 20th 1971 at Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa. His natural birth parents were Susan Bishop and David Jones. He was adopted By Donald and Chula Mori and brought home in a stocking for Christmas.

He grew up loving books, electronics and outdoor adventures, many of which occurred alongside the small creeks of Napa County. He also spent time at AJM Vineyards, the family vineyard run by his Grandfather Albert J. McDowell and his children, Chula, "Cactus", Chuck, and Holly.

He attended Napa High School and was in the marching band where he traveled to Australia for the 1988 Worlds Exposition.

Jason held several jobs in high school, working at Online Computers, McDonalds, KVYN/KVON as an on-air personality and also assistant engineer, famously saving one fireworks grand finale broadcast when the recorded reel ran short and grabbed a cart of Enya's "Orinoco Flow" that matched the finale perfectly, and then getting banned from the air the next 4th of July Fireworks show for airing an un-approved PSA for the First Amendment by playing 2 Live Crew's "Banned in the USA"'

Firsts for Jason:

First Job - Online Computers as Computer Tech and Sysop of OnlineBBS, owned and operated by Dave Austin

First Car - 1955 Chevy Bel Aire 4 Door Post with a 283 V8

First Kiss - Charlene Bradford

Jason graduated high school in 1990 and attended Chico State University for a year and a half, working at the infamous KCSC college station as a host of the blues show "Smokey Cool" and also as Chief Engineer. He left Chico State after realizing he could make more money as a full time computer and radio technican and engineer than as a entry level teacher.
