Born on August 31st 1985 in Portsmouth Jamie Wright aka (Jamie@Capital) is a fully trained presenter/broadcaster for UK radio. Since his Career began Jamie has worked for:


Jamie first joined capital 95.8 in 2003 on March 22nd and originally worked with the mighty Neil Fox. Since then he has worked with Jeremy Kyle on capital 95.8's Jezza's Capital Confessions, and then presented his own latenight slot from 1am til 4am monday to friday then 12-4am on saturday.

From Capital 95.8 Jamie worked elsewhere in the One-Network. During this time Jamie worked for 105.4 Leicester Sound. Whilst here Jamie was still working at Capital 95.8. Jamie was Leicestershire's favourite Traffic and Travel presenter and proved invaluable in keeping Leicestershire moving through the workday.

Jamie finally left Capital 95.8 on the 22nd of March 2007 four years exactly from the date he joined, to join Magic 105.4 with old friend and colleague Neil Fox. Jamie presented the Easter bank holiday Monday show with Neil Fox and proved an instant hit with Magic 105.4's listeners. The bank holiday show was Jamie's debut and gateway to a career at London's Magic 105.4. After this Jamie presented 2 Mellow Magic Through the Night shifts single handedly. Sadly due to ill health Jamie had to postpone further appearance's on the Station. However Jamie is planning a return to London's Magic 105.4 which has been scheduled for late 2008 to early 2009.

Jamie has also had cameo appearances on Northants 96 part of the One Network which is owned and managed by GCAP Media (the owners of hit music station Capital 95.8). At Northants 96 Jamie has again returned to his roots as a Traffic and Travel presenter working with Jagger and Woody in the morning and also Tim Cocker in the afternoons.

Jamie Wright is also looking to join to the British Broadcasting Corporation in early 2009 as an autocue writer and also a voice over person. These are both jobs Jamie is looking forward to being part of.
