Pho Akaushi
Pho Akaushi
I had the pleasure to taste, talk and exam Pho Akaushi by Mr. Trong (Tom). His background is quite interesting. So let get to it.
Background:
Pho or as known as Beef Noodle Soup and Chicken Noodle Soup is a traditional food from Vietnam . Pho can be beef, chicken or vegetarian soup base. It has many ingredients, tastes really good and full of vitamins and minerals. A quick google will yield over thousands of results.
Pho Akaushi [1]is a restaurant located on the second floor of a Vietnamese super market located in Garden Grove, California. Finding this place is actually challenging, against popular believes, this place is well hidden. Its mystery and hard to understand the business model has actually driven curiosity and created a cult like following. The owner and operator name is Tom and he is a funny guy to add to the mix. I have had many conversations with him. I decided to start this page without him knowing and he won't know. I like to keep it that way.
Akaushi originated on the Japanese island of Kyushu and are known as the “emperor’s breed.” One reason is that Akaushi have been propagated through decades of intensive data collection and genetic selection. Bain says the Japan Association of Akaushi has collected carcass performance, breeding pedigrees and economic data for every animal in the entire breed. Consequently, he says the genetics are extraordinarily uniform and consistent.
Pho Akaushi broth is made out of Wagyu - non hormones, beef bones. A huge pressure cooker will boil these bones for 6 hours to extract all the nutrients out from the bones into the broth. If cook right, the broth will tastes sweet. A traditional way of cooking beef bone would be boiling them in a pot for 8 to 10 hours and constantly watching them so that the broth don't get too dark. Vietnamese pride them selves when they can cook Pho broth without getting the broth too brown or dark. There is a secret way of doing it.
The beef that Tom use in his Pho is Wagyu beef. A type of beef called "Akaushi" originated on the Japanese island of Kyushu. Once you try this beef in your Pho, believe me, you don't want to try any other Pho Beef Noodle Soup.

Las Vegas things to do near me

If you are from big cities, Las Vegas is deemed to be a smaller city. The majority of activities in Vegas, so it seem, are for people from out of town. However, what about the rest of the population of Vegas? The people who works and live there? I got a chance to live in many different hotels like the Caesar Palace, Nobu, Paris to the Wynn. I spent many weeks at each hotel. I got a chance to really explore the local area while living in those hotels. I found that there are a huge exodus of Californians moved to Vegas and they are happy to live and work here in Vegas. Because I have a small toddler, I was thinking about what would my child be doing if I was to be living here? Well, there aren’t much options. I can see the definite family oriented nature of this town. We had done an event in Summerlin and I found that the people here are so much nicer than City of LA. Any who, I began to quest on things to do while living, traveling or staying in Las Vegas. Kids Version. Not in order of importance.
1. The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay
In High Demand - Some Sections Sold Out Shark Reef offers 14 exhibits are devoted to more than 2,000 animals, including crocodiles, piranha and 15 species of sharks. A 1.3 million gallon shipwreck allows visitors experience an almost 360-degree view, teeming with sharks and fish, through an acrylic tunnel. The Touch Pool is where guests can touch a collection of animals including sharks, rays or horseshoe crabs.
2. Marvel Avengers at STATION Las Vegas
Things to do in Vegas with kids don't get much better than Marvel Avengers STATION Las Vegas. This is one of the most entertaining family activities in Las Vegas and certainly one which'll keep your children entertained for a while! Marvel Avengers STATION is an interactive exhibit and attraction at the TI hotel bringing visitors into the world of The Avenger. On display is an extensive range of authentic props and costumes from the Marvel Avengers movies.
3. AirballingLV - Fortnite Party Airballing LV is a branch of Airballing LA.

Got kids addicted to Fortnite? Get them off the screen and into the real world with a real-life Fornite party! Airballing LV will supply everything you need to get your gamers playing a fresh-air version of the scrappy survival game: That means an armory of Nerf guns, bows & arrows, chalk and smoke bombs, and water balloons—as well as mini trampolines (for bounce attacks!), a human hamster ball (just because), and more than 75 inflatable barriers and obstacles that kids can move around the battlefield. The basic party package also comes with one Fortnite coach to lead the battle. All you need is space big enough to set up the battlefield (public parks work great as long as you get approval from the city first).
