I am an undeclared major college student with an affinity towards Japanese media, which is generally where most of my edits stay.
Interests
I grew up watching super robo shows and Power Rangers and eventually found my way to tokusatsu, which I've fallen in love with. My interests these days stay with Japanese media, any other form of media makes up probably 5% of what I actually watch and listen to these days.
Sentai
I first watched sentai in the form of Power Rangers, though some could argue they have nothing in common. My first true sentai viewing was Hikari Sentai Maskman in 1996, I then watched Choujin Sentai Jetman which became my favorite sentai and third favorite tokusatsu overall.
Kamen Rider
I first watched Kamen Rider as a child without knowing what it was. I started to fall into its fandom in 1999 when I heard it was making a come back. My favorite series is Kamen Rider Hibiki, I find it to be a very underrated series and am working hard to improve the wikipedia article on it.
Ultraman
I don't like a lot of the Ultraman series, I love the action, but the plot is less than interesting to me usually. Ironically enough, Ultraman Nexus is my favorite tokusatsu. Even though it was cut short, the story is perfect in my opinion and is the best show I've ever watched, which could either say a lot or a little about my tastes.
