HotNoob was an elite bluehat/greyhat hacker who is commonly faked as among the gaming and hacking world. His work has attracted people from all over the world because of his legendary hacktivism.

In the early part of 2011, HotNoob was unhappy with how IGG was treating their gamers, and how they were not fixing the commonly known exploits. He tried to get them to fix them through standard channels by explaining to them how to stop these hacks. After a few months, HotNoob became frustrated and made some public releases.

On May 12, 2011 HotNoob uploaded a video to youtube showing an HE3 exploit as an attempt to get IGG to do something(and to piss off igg). This exploit had been commonly used since the very release of the game. Although not many people had viewed the actual video, the method spread rapidly throughout every server, by the time IGG started doing something about 3 quarters of the online users were exploiting this bug.

This did very well piss off IGG, because of his efforts, they briefly made a public announcement to their players about his actions, but shortly after took it down, because it showed how pathetic they actually were.

Since the game had a lot of Filipino players, there are hundreds of people who have tried and still are pretending to be HotNoob. Despite HotNoob having a website with his name in it, people fall for the scams of these fake "HotNoobs"

The most common places where people pretend to be "HotNoob" is on IGG's Games, YouTube, and Facebook.

on April 18, 2012, he hacked YeepGame's forum defacing it with his defacing page. on top of it, he also posted up proof of hacking the game in 3 different ways^[1]
