A phrase coined by the Pulitzer Finalist Graham Rayman of The Village Voice when referring to Columbia University's take over of West Harlem.[1] Now a term used by residents of host towns of Ivy League Universities in New England. Residents are seeing the areas around the universities being bought up for expansion and high income housing. Result is gentrification of the cities.

- Bishop Gate - The first road to the top of East Rock was called the Old Stewart's road. It started near Rice Field in Cedar Hill, up to the summit via the dip between East Rock and Indian head. The newly formed Parks Commission constructed Indian Head Drive in 1890 which started at Bishops Gate on State Street and over Snake Rock, Indian Head and to the top of East Rock.
[1] Now Bishops Gate is closed off due to falling rocks but the two Red rock pillers still mark the start of a fantastic trail for biking and joggers.
