Welcome to my user page. My name is Gerardo Morell, and I am a professor of Physics and Chemical Physics at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. My academic work focuses on nanomaterials, chemical vapor deposition, diamond-like carbon, quantum dots, and biomedical applications of carbon-based nanostructures.
I also serve as Director of the Puerto Rico NASA Space Grant Consortium and the Puerto Rico NASA EPSCoR Program, both of which support STEM education, research development, and workforce training across Puerto Rico in alignment with NASA’s mission.
