My editing philosophy and the Credibility of Wikipedia

Statement

I base my editing philosophy on the basic premise that Readers should not be misled when referring to what is supposed to be an accurate repository of knowledge (Wikipedia)

Statement of intent

I have to tell you that, certainly in the field of compressible flow or gas dyanamics, Wikpedia certainly needs needs heavy editing. I am prepared to, and already have started to, help correct that situation in those subject areas. There are many mistakes that appear in many terms such shock wave.

MY credentials

I hold a Ph.D from University of Minnesota and I was the last student of the late E.G.R. Eckert. I am responspnsible for many advances in gas dynamics, aside to my book on this topic, analytical solution to oblique shock, and other moving shock flow, the balloon problem, etc. My name is Genick Bar-Meir and I don't hide behind any letter(s).
