I am no longer an active participant here on Wikipedia. I might check in rarely from time to time, but don't expect any quick replies or anything. Between abusive administrators, excessive bureaucratization and red tape, and broken consensus building processes, it is not worth my already limited time.

My name is Greg Weatherup, but I tend to go by the net handle of Gecko or Gecko_G, feel free to call me any of them.

I speak English, Spanish (limitedly), and Modern Hawaiian Pidgin English (which unfortunately I am forgetting due to lack of use), though I can also read some limited things in various other (mostly european) languages.

I grew up in Hawaiʻi and am now in Hanford and waiting to return home.

Don't know what else should go here, so I guess thats all.

I would qualify as an Apprentice (or "Novato") Level 4 Editor on Wikipedia. For such a determination I specifically exclude edits to my user page, but I do include a number of unregistered edits I made during a period of time where I was unable to access this account. I will hit Journeyman Editor level 1, or Grognard 1 at 2,500 edits - having long ago met the time requirement (back in November of 2007).
