About Me

I am a professional Colombian artist interested in the role Latin American visual artists play in the art world scene and the current and ongoing boom of Colombian art. I edit a few web portals but my primary concern on Wikipedia is to enrich the information and understanding about the contemporary art of Colombia in the rest of the world as well as in Colombia.

I was born in the 70's in Bogotá, Colombia and have been watching closely the cultural changes and progress the country has endured after nearly forty years of internal struggles and social disparity. Today, against all odds, Colombia has a strong economy and a vibrant young population that has emerged also as a key player in the art world. My intention is to educate a little the general public regarding Colombian art galleries, Colombian curators, and Colombian artists.
