Although I have contributed to Wikipedia since July 2009 I have only recently started to really learn the ropes. I am a lifelong resident of Maryland (except for a brief stint in Chicago) and enjoy reading and writing about the topics of business and film. I'd like to disclose that I'm a Maryland state employee but have also served as a professional freelance writer and journalist for more than 20 years. Please know my allegiance is to Wikipedia first and foremost and not the State of Maryland. I look forward to improving my articles and branching out to other subjects so as not to create a conflict of interest.
