I've recently been contributing to the discussion pages of the Cloud computing article, suggesting that it should be re-written and that an introductory article should be provided. I have been researching cloud computing in general.

I've been in the computer industry throughout my career, after obtaining a first class degree and a masters in Mathematics from Hull University in the UK. I've been working as an Enterprise, Solution, Technical or Process Architect, for industry and government clients.

I wrote a text book called From Hardware to Software: An Introduction to Computers. It's quoted in the Oxford English Dictionary under Virtual Memory.

I'm the author of a new type of software calculator that can be viewed at [1] or [2].
