I little background on me. I'm originally from Washington state, and have lived in several areas of the U.S. I have degrees in physics and applied math, and am currently in a computer science Phd program.

Most of my edits are about science and math. I am enthusiastic about Wikipedia's role in advancing human knowledge by allowing students/researchers/practitioners in technical areas quickly get an overview of a subject or bring themselves up to speed. As such, I try to make my edits as pedagogically useful as possible.
