Ed "The Red Rocket" Kania is an amateur prospect and future champion mixed martial artist.He is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is a solid kickboxer. He is also an instructor at Absolute Martial Arts where he trains under Master Keith Brock.


Ed has trained under Master Ricardo Murgel, who is an 8th degree blackbelt. He has also had pleasure of working with Jason Chambers, who is a brown belt and Keith Brock, who is a first degree blackbelt.


Ed has shown he has the heart of a champion after getting knocked down and recovering and then dominating the fight. In his first fight he ended it with a rear naked choke in the beginning seconds of the second round. In his second fight he won via submission (strikes) and ended up breaking the mans jaw. In one of the bloodiest fights I have ever seen, "The Red Rocket" showed determination and pure skill.
