Emily Yu, born in April, is a kid writer. She loves writing, and it's really starting to pay off. Her first writing activity was that she joined the AAYS (Asian American Youth Spectrum) magazine [1]. She wrote articles for the magazine, and in a few months, that hard work will be printed out!! Next, she joined a writing contest [2]which accepted poems that were the best. And in a few months, Emily had found out that she was a finalist in the contest's anthology, "A Celebration of Young Poets." Emily is now hoping she will win the top ten, who will receive over $3,000 prize money. Now what is Emily up to this instant?? Maybe reading, writing, or just watching TV!! Who knows?? This kid writer can do anything at a time!!
