Elizabeth Alan is the author of Right To Work.
This is my first published book titled "Right To Work". It covers accounts of my move from the Mid-West to VA. I took a job with a company that was bought by a large global corporation and was shocked by how employees were treated. The laws did not protect the people who were injured or bullied by corporate management. People were worked to the point of exhaustion and some died from heart attacks. I learned that employees were an expendable commodity as there are more people than jobs. In “Right To Work” states people are replacing innovation and mechanical equipment, as it’s less expensive to burn out a person and replace them then it is to maintain mechanical equipment. This can be a lethal combination for some. I started to speak up for others and myself and soon became ostracized for it. So began my education concerning Right To Work issues, and the doctors, lawyers and judges employed to protect the company’s interest above all else.
May we learn wisdom from our mistakes, never again to repeat them.
