Aziq Azman is a Brunei-an musical composer and has thus far completed three songs with seven more planned for his first album, Futura, set for an early April release.

Aziq is currently working on his first album, Futura, which will be sold in selected stores. “I see the stores that sell pirate copies, and I want nothing to do with them”. Aziq has said that he would like the album out by the 2nd of April 2008. When inquired why, he said: “Just look at the numbers, they double each other. It’s as close as we can get to releasing The omen at 6/6/06. Its just publicity.” Indeed, each progressive number is twice as much as the previous number (02-04-08). Futura is planned to contain a total of ten songs, all originally composed by Aziq Azman.

Aziq Azman is a digital-music composer. His first two songs, `Decanté’ and `My fantasy’ are classical pieces. Aziq said that his first song (Decanté) is about finding something new, ”New life, new love, new home, you get the idea”. Aziq has been quoted that his inspiration for `My fantasy’ came from the popular string quartet Bond. His third song is vastly different, `Decktra’ is a modern club-beat that was inspired by the hit artists `Trance wave’. “The only thing that my cousin said after he heard it was `über modern’”.

Aziq Azman is currently attending secondary school. When asked whether this interferes with his work he replied: “What do you mean ` whether it interferes with my work’? Of course it does! Between homework, projects and practicals it can take a whole week to make a single track, and that’s when I’m lucky. It’s all just a matter of priorities, and right now, I’d rather have no `0’s on my marks than going double-platinum.”
