I am a senior at the University of Arkansas studying Art History. My specialization area is American Art from the Colonial Period to the early twentieth century. While I love most genres and periods of art, my passion is studying the context of early American Art. I've noticed that while you have an article devoted to the philosophical ideal in early American Art pertaining to the Native Americans called Noble Savage, you do not have any information concerning the epistemological study regarding the time line in which the era of the Noble Savage ends and the Republican Indian began. I have been doing quite a bit of research on this important subject which reveals the slow but tragic fate of the Native Americans in the mid to late 18th century, and I would like to add to your information. I think I could make some revealing and important points through the art of this time and its historical context.
