Introduction

Hello, I decided to create this page as I have been a sometime contributor to Wikipedia as well as a sometime financial supporter of Wikipedia's parent organization.

Some basic facts about me that are true, but limited as fishing for information for advertising and nefarious purposes seems to be a thing now a days.

Basic Background

As far as I know I was born male. I was able to reproduce as I have a daughter. That makes me a once fertile male. I am human as far as I know. Parents were of German/English and Austrian/Polish descent. I had 4 other siblings. As of this time only two of us remain. The others passed from breast cancer, old age, and a motorcycle accident. My father died from lung cancer. My father was a chain smoker who also worked with asbestos as he was a journeyman pipecoverer for the Dow Chemical company. He passed at age 62 right after retiring from work. My mother passed from extreme old age. She was 97. I have various aunts and uncles whose exact history I do not know.

Current things

This information is current as of September 23, 2020. Trump is currently the POTUS. I usually have several cats in my household.

Marriage

I am married to a wonderful lady who is also one of my best friends.

Employment

I am currently retired. My career as a Desktop Support and LAN administrator was ended when I reached the age of 58. I drove a large commercial truck(lorry), for about 3 years before I retired a little early.

Health

My left hip has developed moderate to severe arthritis which limits my speed in walking and in other ambulatory activities. I have plans to get the hip replaced after my medicare coverage starts, assuming I am healthy enough to warrant the time and effort. Weight has always been a struggle for me. I was up to over 325 pounds. I currently tip the scales at 225 pounds. I have found the MyFitnessPal application to be of immense help to me in reducing and controlling my weight.

Things I have done

I learned to fly gliders when I was 18. I obtained a private pilot glider Aero Tow Only license around 18. I eventually got a Single Engine Land private pilots license. I have let my pilots license lapse and did not seek a replacement when new laws came into effect. I had a conceal carry permit which I also allowed to lapse as there was no practical use for it at the time. I have had a drivers license since I was 16. I obtained a commercial drivers license as part of becoming a truck(lorry) driver. That license is still valid though I no longer keep a current physical. I have a Certified Novell Administrator certificate. I obtained a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering degree in 1977. Due to my ability to fix things I never really used my degree to any great extent. The degree was gotten after I received a full ride scholarship from Bell and Howell in 1974, shortly after graduating from high school. The funny thing was that I had applied for and been accepted to ITT technical institute in Fort Wayne Indiana. I gave them $50 for my registration and they sent me a T-shirt. After receiving the scholarship to attend Ohio Institute of Technology in Columbus Ohio I cancelled my ITT registration and kept the $50 T-shirt. Ohio Institute of Technology later changed its name to Devry of Columbus. There is some other kind of school that has the name Ohio Institute of Technology now, it is not in any way related to the original OIT. I was married and divorced to the same lady twice. That lady is my daughter's mother. My third marriage has lasted since 1989 till present.

State of my being

I have no idea what my IQ is. I had hints it was high from comments made by high school teachers but I was never told what it was thought to be. I tend to be able to take things apart, examine them, fix them, and put them back together to have something that works properly. I have done and do plumbing, house wiring, automobile repair, computer repair, and small appliance repair. I also occasionally create things, usually copying what others have done. I was very shy as a child. I have become less shy as I have aged. I think I may have some Asperger's syndrome as I have a hard time reading others emotions, or caring what those emotions might be. I have had to study people I care about to learn how to read them, but that does not translate to being able to read everyone though it does sometimes help. I have started writing several novels and written a few erotic short stories. I seem to be better at short stories as novels tend to falter after one or two chapters. I play a little bit of Ingress, and Pokemon Go. I enjoy playing Minecraft in survival mode. I love science fiction novels, movies, and television shows. I have an interest in non binary gender expression. I have tested as Androgynous on the scale of male to female. Gender has never been an identification point for me. I am I. I am regardless of my birth gender and will be if that gender changes or diminishes over time. I feel a closeness to those of the community that struggle with dysphoria over their gender identity, sexual preferences, and expression.
