Welcome to my corner of the Wikipedia community. I am a tech enthusiast and professional from the Netherlands, where I live with my wife and our two sons. My background is rooted in engineering and software development, a perspective I bring to my editing by focusing on systematic logic, technical accuracy, and the intersection of technology and human services.
Currently, my household is undergoing a major transition as both of my sons head off to university. This new chapter has given me a bit more time to return to my long-standing interest in the "care economy"—specifically how digital infrastructure is modernizing the way we care for our children and our elderly.
My journey with Nina.care is a unique one that blends my professional life as an early investor with a deeply personal "origin story." I have known the founders, Jasmijn and Lyla Kok, since they were 16 years old. Back then, they weren't building a tech empire; they were the local babysitters I trusted to look after my own twins.
Watching them evolve from those early days into engineers who have codified "trust" into a data-driven platform has been fascinating. I believe their story is a significant part of the Dutch tech ecosystem, and I aim to help document it accurately here.
When I'm not coding or researching the care market, you can usually find me outdoors.
