How to write your article

On IRC I asked a question about writing an article and received the following answer which captures the idea pretty good I think:
We aren't looking for "notable" sources. We're looking for independent, in-depth, *reliable*, published sources that can be used to establish notability (as definded by Wikipedia) and used as a foundation to draft an encyclopedia article.
You then take those sources, and extract (summarize) the information from them to build your draft.
The draft should summarize and organize what others have reported about the company.
