I'm responsible for caring for archive collections belonging to a wide range of individuals and organisations. Part of my work involves analysing and describing the contents of these archives - activities that develop extensive subject knowledge in these areas. I am keen to use my subject knowledge of collections to contribute and enhance related entries on Wikipedia. My motivation is to improve Wikipedia, and to enhance the visibility of unique historical sources to researchers, rather than to promote myself or my employer.
