script-ctl is a security-focused userscript manager. Unlike other script managers, it locks scripts to their specific version ("revision") and lets users decide whether to update to the latest one.

Installation

  1. Go to your common.js and open it for editing;
    1. remove all script imports (typically the lines that start with importScript);
    2. insert the following line that imports the script manager:

importScript("User:DVRTed/script-ctl.js"); // Backlink: [[User:DVRTed/script-ctl.js]]

  1. Save the page.

Information If you don't want the script manager to handle certain scripts or have other JS code in your common.js file, you can leave them as-is.
