Major League Kickboxing , is the highest league of professional kickboxing in the United States,Canada, one team in Australia , and one team in England. Its first season started in 1995. The league is composed of two conferences called the American Empire Conference and the National Empire Conference , in which each Conference has nine teams. Its regular season begins on January 27th (or 29th) and ends on June 28th (or 30th). Its playoffs begin on July 2nd (or 4th) and ends on July 17th (or 19th) , ending with the Sparks Cup.

Each one of the sixteen teams has eight fighters on its roster - with eight fighters on its replacement list , incase a fighter gets injured. Each roster is composed of two fighters from each weight division;

Road Rules

The road rules in Major League Kickboxing are the same for all sixteen teams in the league. The road rules are listed below ;

Sparring - I

1. practices must be 190 minutes (0e91m)

  A. stretching - 15 minutes (0e1~m)
  B. strength training - 60 minutes (0e6m) 
  C. break - 15 minutes (0e1~m)
  C. practice fighting - 60 minutes (0e6m)
  D. technique training - 40 minutes (0e4m)
  E. END

Steriods - II

2. all fighters are prohibited from any kind of steriod use of any kind

   A. all fighters are tested for steriod use - every two days (D:E2) - including the during the offseason
   B. all trainers are tested for this as well - rest as follows from above
   C. all referees are tested for this as well - rest as follows from above
