Dawn Jackman Murphy is a fellow with Fielding Graduate University's Marie Fielder Center for Democracy, Leadership, and Education and is currently in the final stages of her Ph.D. journey.  Dawn is also the Board Vice President for the Folk Education Association of America and the facilitator of the Folk School Alliance. Since 2016, Dawn's work with the Folk Education Association of America has included two Participatory Action Research projects and one Participatory Video project.  Through her Action Research she seeks to build capacity within the new folk school movement while documenting and sharing the movement’s growth and development.
