Contraverse is an American living in Germany. Graduate of St. John's College in Annapolis MD, software developer and quality assurance engineer since 1985, avid and eclectic reader, thinker, and sometimes writer. His main interests are Philosophy, Science and Language; current work is in Web 2.0, "Wikinomics" and web development. Has been editing Wikipedia articles since 2009, and at this time has more than 230 edits.

My main interest in Wikipedia editing centers around contributing to intellectual content on matters that interest me, such as politics, philosophy, health, and other topics. There seems to be an undercurrent of anti-intellectualism in Wikipedia, in the form of bias and point of view which is contrary to the spirit of Wikipedia.
