Episode One - Hearts of Fire

The survivalists are paired up into 6 groups of 3 and are tasked with a difficult challenge: they must create a fire as a team—without the help of a fire starter. They have one whole hour to do it, plus they could use anything they find in the woods, such as sticks.

Episode Two - Village in the Woods

The survivalists are tasked with building the perfect shelter. They have 24 hours to do so. The judges will base the shelter on durability, appearance, and usability. Near the end of the episode, a twist is revealed—the judges will spend the night in each of the survivalists' shelters, seeing which ones hold up and which ones don't.

Episode Three - Lake of Secrets

The judges give the remaining survivalists a difficult task: to catch as much fish from the lake as they possibly can in only 3 hours. They can't use any tools, they must either use their hands or craft a fishing rod.

Episode Four - Hunting for Success

The survivalists need to go hunting, but not in the way you'd probably expect. They need to hunt as many animals as possible using traditional hunting methods, such as snare traps and bows.

Episode Five - Boats or No Boats?

The judges tell the survivalists that they will have to row across the lake using boats that they need to craft out of whatever they can find in the woods. They are paired up, and some teams fare well better than others.

Episode Six - Into the Wild - Part One

The remaining survivalists are challenged to survive alone, far away from one another. They need to use their skills to make it out, and those who tap out are on the verge of elimination.

The survivalists are tasked with building a livable shelter—but it has to be hidden from plain sight. Many build theirs underground, or in a grove of trees. Some build actual tree-houses. Which shelters will come out on top? Will quality win over usability?

Episode Eight - Survivalist Chefs

In this episode, the survivalists are paired and are told by the judges to become chefs for the next challenge. They could use anything in the woods to prepare their dish.

The survivalists are once again challenged to survive alone, far away from one another. Their skills will prove whether they can make it out or not.

The survivalists are tasked with locating treasure, bringing out their navigational skills. They are individually given a map, and whoever finds the most treasure has a higher chance of moving on.

Episode Eleven - The Survival Games

It's the penultimate challenge—the one that will eliminate half the competition. The survivalists split in half into groups of 3, and are placed 20 miles away from their end waypoint. The first team who can make it there moves on to the finale, and the other team is eliminated from the competition.

Episode Twelve - Finale

The final three survivalists have made it to the final challenge. They have to survive as long as possible without tapping out. The final remaining survivalist will win a cash prize of $100,000.
