I see that you have articles in back to back Did You Know queues! The Heidelberg Raceway article should appear at about 10pm Chicago time and the second one for Rex White should appear at about 4am Chicago time. A nominated an image of White's NASCAR car which will be pictured beside your expansion - you got the precious top spot! I uploaded that picture from a flickr friend and I already notified him. I might do the 10pm update (I'll get someone else to credit me for the article). I suggest that you record a list your Did You Know articles - I like how some people keep the hooks. You might want to add {{User Did You Know2}} to you userpage. I'm very proud to say that I started that template (diff) to tally my DYK articles and it has achieved widespread usage. Congratulations on your first DYK! I'm happy that I got to promote it, and to work on the article with you. Here's to many more! Royalbroil 03:15, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[...]

| On 9 August 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Nels Running, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that US Air Force Major General Nels Running, a recipient of seven Distinguished Flying Crosses, had never boarded an airplane until he left his home town to attend the Air Force Academy? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Nascar notes:
NASCAR seasons that need created
Going through articles and checking that all pages linked there have wikidata short description wikidata - add Wikipedia:Short description to links in following articles, also a lot of knife/weapon articles, some tennis, legal documents, etc.
{{short description}} ex: 1960 NASCAR Grand National Series

I've also started going through various sports teams seasons from their first season through 2020 to make sure they have a {{short description}}. A couple teams had their first years already done, and as I spot checked each decade, it seems their entire history had the SD already added. It's possible I missed a few, and I've noted that they were done by others. As of this writing I've completed all the active NFL teams (for each year) and started on the NHL hockey articles.
These are the NFL teams I've done:

A LOT of our film articles don't have plots or cast members included - so from time to time I try to fix that. These are a few I've done since early 2021. Some of them, especially the early ones, are just a brief synopsis of the film. This is usually either because the film is either unavailable for me to watch, and/or has little note in my reference material. Other films, usually the later ones, are more detailed plots.

WP:NPP (back in the old 2008 days), also tried a little WP:AIV, WP:RFPP, WP:REFUND just to get a feel for what they were and how they worked. Most of that I did when I first got admin. bits. Did a bit of the merge stuff too - but it's more complex than I wanted to work on. I tried to work a bit on Stargate - SG 1 way back when, but soon learned that they don't keep individual articles for each episode (Star Trek does). I put a lot of hard hours into trying to work on the Larry Sanger article, but the resistance there wasn't worth the arguments.
