Chad Timmer is a mandolinist, who is originally from Rockford, Illinois. He began his musical career as a founding member of the Denver area band Medicine Jones. Medicine Jones recorded the album " This Week", which featured the song "Chicago Creek" written by Timmer. An instrumental that featured Chad, along with violonist Bridget Law. From there Chad went on to join the Denver based, touring Irish rock band, Potcheen Folk Band. Chad was the original mandolinist for Potcheen, and played extensively throughout the Denver region. In 2008, after moving back to the Chicagoland area, Chad was the founding member of the Screw City Saints. Along with John Logan, Chad cultivated the Celtic punk band that would go on to share the stage with such notable acts as Joe Buck, Josh Langston, The Pimps, Sons of Many Bitches and Flatfoot 56. Now, living in the mountains, outside Boulder Colorado, Chad is pursuing his musical vision, of American roots influenced folk rock.
