My name is Cate Jiang, and I am an undergraduate student at Washington University in St. Louis. I am pursuing a double major from the School of Engineering and Applied Science with a first major in Computer Science and a second major in Biology. I was born in Boston, MA and moved to Tokyo, Japan and Shanghai, China for 5 and 3 years, respectively before moving to San Francisco, CA. I am currently doing research in a biomedical lab on campus, where I am using machine learning to predict cognitive function in newly diagnosed pediatric patients with brain tumors.
I enjoy hiking (preferably with my two dogs but friends/family are a close second), photography, and traveling.
