Captain Kevin Kelly is the Owner / Operator of the charter boat American Star [1] which is homeported in Highlands New Jersey. The American Star is based at Twin Lights Marina, one of New Jersey's premier sport fishing docks. Captain Kelly also is the CEO of Blue Heron Industries and GoBlueHeron.com [2]and the Captain of the BLUE HERON PRO FISHING TEAM [3]. The BLUE HERON PRO FISHING TEAM is the official competitive sport fishing team of Blue Heron Industries, Inc.

With over 40 years fishing experience Captain Kevin Kelly focuses on teaching others how to become better anglers. During the Spring and Fall months, the primary game fish target is Striped Bass in Raritan Bay and the adjacent Atlantic coastal waters off New York and New Jersey. During the Summer months competitive efforts are conentrated off-shore for Tuna, Shark and Dolphin.
