Andrew Clarke is a local historian for the area of North Essex that includes Borley, Foxearth, Pentlow and Liston. His preoccupation is in recording and preserving the rich heritage of this part of England before it is destroyed. He has been working with the Foxearth and District Local History Society to make as much as possible primary materials available via the internet. He has taken a particular interest in the Borley Rectory story and has studied it for forty years, working with both Trevor Hall and Richard Morris. He has written a book, called 'The Bones of Borley' dealing with the history and evidence of the 'haunting'. He is an IT consultant with a special interest in databases.
