Aaron's life began not unlike many mortal men, with a cry and a firm smack on the rear. The year was 1986. The date was October 14th. They say that on this day, the tide was extra low in Asia, undoubtable due to the presence of Mr. Gilbert. At the young age of 6, Aaron was already showing signs of super-human strangth, having broken almost every toy he owned. But he was also showing another ability - an uncompromising intellegence. While most boys his age were building little cars with their Legos, Aaron had built the first fully functional time machine, all out of plastic blocks.
By the age of 14 Aaron's parents noticed there was something different about their son. He was easily reading and comprehending the deep insights of Machiavelli and benching 200 pounds. Eventually this super-human could not be kept secret anymore. It was a bright June afternoon when the FBI showed up and took Aaron to their secret testing facility. This was more to nurture the boy's incredible powers than for testing. The facility was a sort of playground where Mr. Gilbert could continue to be challenged and he could continue learning. Aaron's friends wondered where he had been taken for a while, but eventually they were just glad that he had stopped sleeping with their girlfriends.
Aaron is now 19 and has been re-released into the naive public. He is more of a shape-shifter now, using his amazing abilities only when humankind is again being threatened by the Forces of Evil (FOE to insiders). He is currently a "student" at Ball State university, where he spends the majority of his time at class or shooting pool. After he graduates from Ball State, Aaron plans to go to law school to help make the world a better place for people who can't do it themselves, because Aaron Gilbert is all powerful.
Aaron's extreme knowledge and strength were refined by the teachings of John Charles Dobelbower. JCD saw the potential of Aaron early on in his life and set out to teach Aaron the ways of Sun Tzu and other philosophers and warriors. Dobelbower is the single most influentail person in Aaron's life. An autographed picture hangs above the bed of Aaron, it is his most prized possesion.
