Hello,
I am a Software Developer with about 15 years of commercial IT experience building data driven business applications on Desktop, Web, and recently Mobile platforms mostly utilizing Microsoft and Oracle tools and technologies.
While I am trying to keep myself instrumental with hands on programming and best practices, I am also very interested in developing algorithmic knowledge and skills in the complex areas of Machine Learning, Data Mining, Computational Linguistics and Search Engine technologies. I have practical experience building specialized vertical search engine, text document classification / parsing / data extraction applications.
My recent interest is in mobile applications. I am about to release my first mobile application for Google Android platform.
I speak English and Russian. In my off-time, I listen to a lot of music, all kind of music really, from dance music to metal to dark and sexy trip hop beats, and more.
I feel that I have reached a point where I can contribute to Wikipedia in certain areas of my knowledge domain.
