I started out on Wikipedia in 2003 and soon got into editing articles on Massachusetts geography, carrying out a project to correct all the references to Massachusetts CDPs that aren't towns but were referred to as "towns" in their articles, especially the ones that have the same names as actual towns. Look at Falmouth (town), Massachusetts versus Falmouth (CDP), Massachusetts, to see what I mean. I do some editing of linguistics-related articles (which is my actual area of expertise), especially dialects of American English—see Boston accent, for instance. Recently I've gotten into editing articles on TV episodes and movies for clarity, especially trimming down overly-long plot summaries.

I originated the articles on Massachusetts Bay, Cape Cod Bay, Buzzards Bay, and Harvard Yard as well as Pocahontas (1995 film).
