Addict 2006 - Intolerance (Avoid these actions!)

The Addict is most displeased with some users' apparent lack of... thinking... about the edits they make. While he does try to be friendly and really doesn't want to argue with people about something that is not really that important, he also cares about the quality of several articles he patrols and wanders around. Most matters may be related to being vandalized or being trolled upon. It becomes annoying to the Addict if the same mistakes are always made twice... Or more. The Addict wonders if people, including him, really do assume good faith and try to look up past reverts on vandalism in the corresponding articles in the history...

People have been constantly breaking the word count by making it inconsistent, being inconsistent in other manners, and breaking the WP:NPOV rule.

One of those users was User:Pimanrules, who has been blocked for abusing the "unblock" tag, but most importantly, constantly making up nonsense pages and wasting people's time cleaning them up.

ALERT! vandalism

24.190.12.249

In November 2006, 24.190.12.249(contribs) kept posting Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! text and a false "zero heroes" show in unrelated places, like Noggin (TV channel), PBS (and related), Nick Jr., and a few others, which mainly are of cartoon networks in general. In fact, that act of vandalism is how I first heard about Wubbzy and how another Nickelodeon voice actress I heard of also did voices in that show. Anyway, he has been blocked twice and has apparently stopped on his IP address since then.

Past vandal behavior

In February 2006, 68.60.251.223(contribs) aka User:Bbb00723(contribs) aka User:Kgb23(contribs), was caught using copyrighted Net Nanny pictures for vandalism. He tried striking back by putting once-only-warnings on innocent users, such as me. And he also claimed that righteousness is vandalism, when in fact, vandalism stays vandalism. And he apparently claimed the site was his once. He most likely will never strike again, because he has reformed.

Reformation

He currently is User:Peace237 under good faith. Let's hope he never becomes an ALERT! target again - I'm never a vandal just so anyone knows.

Have you ever watched the US Public Broadcasting Service, aka PBS? Have you ever finished watching your favorite PBS Kids show or something and saw those cool but scary PBS logos at the end of the credits and stuff? Well, lately, 67.84.187.57(contribs) insisted that PBS idents, which have expired many years ago with the creation of those anew, still were majorly in effect until 2006. Which is not true by the way. As stated on the vandal's talk page, without bolding and italics:

Also, there have been hoaxes about an alleged non-existent partnership between Nick Jr. and PBS, through idents they both made. Not. I even believed it once. Really. Because I don't watch TV that often now.

There have been two claims of alleged 9th idents. We all know PBS is not affiliated with Nickelodeon or ABC or something like that.
